I was watching CoolTV a local music video channel that’s what MTV was before it became an outlet for inane reality shows. Seven to eight is occupied by The Ladies Room. It features videos by ladies, who would’ve thunk it? Eight to nine is Eighties at Eight. Again who knew? I was waiting on the water heater to get up to speed and was channel surfing. At some point back when my sister and I shared an apartment on Acorn St. We had to buy a washer and dryer. The ones she’d schlepped around from New Britain to Southington to Windsor had crapped out. I had little to do with the purchase as she’d always deemed me to be incompetent at best, mentally slow at worst. I have to admit I did little to dispel those thoughts. I’m treading on Jenny Hansen’s turf here. More Cowbell has had many informative posts on underwear. This is my story. It starts in 1948 when I was born. The nuns at the Good Shepard Home wrapped me in cloth diapers. They handed me off to my parents who kept me in the cotton breeding ground for diaper rash and unspeakable odors. Randy Hill was not a blessed child. His father was a police officer in the city they lived in and his mother was a teacher.
